Hi, I'm Marcel!
I believe in decentralized technology that empowers human autonomy and collaboration. Currently, I am contributing to this goal as a Ph.D. researcher at TU Delft, where I'm working on information retrieval in peer-to-peer systems. In connection with this, I am also exploring decentralized AI and multi-agent LLM systems.
In my previous life, I was very passionate about coding. My teenage and student years were spent playing around with different technologies, gaining experience as a freelancer and at tech companies, working on personal projects and even startups. I still love the art of software engineering and enjoy bringing digital products to life!
Besides technology, I'm also an avid reader with broad interests in history, psychology, economics, and philosophy. Generally, I strive to become the best version of myself, learn about the complexities of our own nature and the world around us, and contribute to a better future for humanity.
